Often times I've wondered about life and how transient it is. I mean, everyone has a specific period of time that they'll live and what they do during that period determines the quality of life they had. It's not about how much money one makes or how many children. We need to ask ourselves a very pertinent question and that is "What was I created for? Was I created to simply repeat the same cycle of spending years trying to get an education, get a job, get married and have kids so the can also continue the cycle? We couldn't have been created to just exist and occupy the earth's space. There must have been a specific assignment that God gave each and everyone of us.

What are you passionate about. What do you love doing even without being paid for it? What gives you that rush of adrenaline? What is that thing you think you should be doing. That thing you think about that makes you feel like you are missing out on something or that you could have made a bigger difference in the world with? In twenty or thirty years from now when you are old and grey, what would you regret not doing? What makes you smile and feel good about yourself? That may just be the purpose for being here. Are you happy around kids, do you love talking to teenagers? That may just be your purpose, to mentor kids. A life of purpose is such that impacts on the lives of others.

We all find our life's purpose at stages of lives. Everyone has their own journey, while others find theirs earlier on in life, others are late bloomers. The important thing is that you are living it out. Here are ways I think can help us find our purpose:

1.Step out of your comfort zone: Take risks, try to do things in different way from what you are used to and you may begin to see things from a different perspective and explore a whole new world of possibilities.

2.Connect with people you share the same passion with as they'll help to strengthen your resolve. As they say, "iron sharpeneth iron". You may just need to be inspired by someone.

3.Channel your energy towards your passion and what makes you happy. Explore your talents and skills, they were given you for a reason. Stop wasting time on jobs or activities that you have have to struggle with.

These are just few ways of finding our purpose, do you have any other ideas on how to find your purpose? Please do not hesitate to hit the comment button.
